Like many nonprofits, ONE depends on its annual report as a critical tool for informing and inspiring their donors and partners. Released as a highly sought-after limited print run with a digital counterpart, the report must engage a global audience with key components of the ONE story, while simultaneously communicating a high volume of important organizational information.
For their 2014 report, they sought a new partner who could bring a fresh sensibility to the design of the print report, then translate that vision seamlessly into a high-impact digital experience. All pieces needed seamless integration, and they needed to work for a global audience, meaning the digital components required rigorous cross-platform compatibilities.
Working with photography and content from ONE’s internal team, we brainstormed and developed conceptual frameworks to add a layer of cohesion that would help serve their goals. We designed and developed the print and digital versions in tandem to ensure a cohesive finished product, then worked with both ONE and our development team to see the project through to completion and multi-channel distribution.
ONE challenged us to come up with an engaging way to unify the print and digital experiences for their annual reports. We delivered a simple and compelling solution that highlights their work for a worldwide audience, from mobile phones to desktops to the office.
