Content Marketing Strategist

Orange Element is seeking a highly strategic Content Marketing Specialist to produce and distribute strategic content that promotes ours and our clients' services and offerings, communicate value propositions, and provide competitive positioning for our Orange Element and our clients.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible to implement a multi-disciplinary marketing approach to drive meaningful, measurable results for our agency and each of our three primary service lines: Brand Development, Web Design/Development, and Digital Marketing.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for storytelling and a propensity for dissecting and understanding the analytics, information, content, and communications that draw the attention of target audiences. While content development is at the core of the candidate recognizes that strategic marketing and distribution are key drivers of success. Through collaboration, intentional research, and experimentation, the candidate is ready to help better engage our clients and prospects and take our brand to the next level with original content.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with internal team to understand our services, competitors, and client needs (including pain points, buying behaviors, and lifecycles).
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative research specific to clients’ industries to gain fresh ideas and inform content strategy and market positioning.
  • Understand how various types of content can be used to attract, engage, and retain clients’ target audiences and how those audiences consume the content.
  • Lead and participate in content briefing sessions to gather information needed to develop timely, relevant, and valuable content.
  • Develop content—including but not limited to web copy, blogs, articles, sales collateral, eBooks, white papers, case studies, email campaigns, and paid/organic social copy that establishes expertise, promotes brand awareness, and keeps businesses top of mind.
  • Analyze and report on content performance and use analytics to inform the evolution of content and decision making.
  • Identify ideal strategies and methods to distribute content via multiple digital outlets.
  • Maintain a comprehensive editorial calendar for all clients.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • BS degree in marketing or another related field.
  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SEO.
  • Proficiency reporting on and analyzing performance data to drive decisions.
  • Demonstrated planning, project management, organization, communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional writing and editing skills (spelling, grammar, structure, style, vocabulary, tone, etc.).
  • High energy with a growth mindset and curious nature.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form productive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and/or HubSpot certified.

Graphic Designer

Orange Element is seeking a driven, well-rounded, creative designer to join our team. This person will work and collaborate with our energetic team to bring brands and creative campaigns to life across a wide range of industries from non-profit to health care to consumer product. This person should be well-versed in both the digital and print space, able to adapt to clients’ needs and deliver cross-channel solutions that keep pace with our changing industry. We are excited to add another passionate, creative person to the team to help deliver high-level work for our clients.

Responsibilities

Designer must:

  • Create high-quality, original design work for a diverse set of clients.
  • Work closely with Directors to execute design concepts in digital and print space.
  • Collaborate with and support internal design team.
  • Develop campaign materials and assets across multiple channels.
  • Carry projects through from concept to production.
  • Develop materials for client presentations.

Mid-Level

Developer

Orange Element is seeking a motivated Developer who will build new sites that combine unique functionality, responsiveness and elegant interfaces while maintaining a group of existing client websites.

Responsibilities

The developer will demonstrate solid experience with WordPress content management systems while also embracing modern Ajax techniques and JavaScript frameworks to develop rapid prototypes and iterate on features to optimize the user’s interactions. This includes working on Digital Marketing Tools, Landing Pages, Websites, Web Pages, Microsite Pages, Forms, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized and reusable templates for web and email campaigns.
  • Build and maintain customize templates/widgets on WordPress CMS.
  • Maintain and support multiple teams for our intranet sites.
  • Design and turn storyboards into animated HTML5 banner ad campaigns.
  • Collaborate with design team and deliver the projects on time.
  • Lead testing and QA for multiple ongoing projects.
  • Participate in design reviews with key stakeholders and should be able to communicate with clear instructions.
  • Maintain branding and graphic standards throughout the company’s websites through well-organized style sheets.
  • Help lead our usability standards based on a strong knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Provide fast and accurate level of effort estimates for ongoing projects.
  • Add value to the organization by learning & adapting to new technology trends.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years demonstrated ability in web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Drupal, WordPress, ASP.Net and/or PHP.
  • Ability to code for cross-browser compatibility, and sites that require security/authentication.
  • Strong ability to code for responsive designs using bootstrap libraries
  • Working knowledge on SQL and Google analytics
  • Demonstrate experience in web API development and security implementation
  • Expert at handling and publishing media assets (graphics/video) through CDNs
  • Experience integrating social media services into websites
  • Demonstrated background coding for email campaigns and CRM integrations, including landing pages across all client/device/browser combinations

 

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (focus on Photoshop, Illustrator)
