Digital Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team and take the lead on managing comprehensive digital marketing services for our nonprofit and cultural clients, and our own campaigns. This role is perfect for someone passionate about mission-driven work who thrives in a client service environment.

Responsibilities

Client Digital Strategy & Execution

  • Manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns for multiple nonprofit and cultural organization clients
  • Develop and execute digital strategies aligned with each client’s mission, programs, and community engagement goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts regarding digital marketing initiatives

Social Media Strategy & Content Creation

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms for multiple clients
  • Create and schedule engaging content that reflects each client’s unique voice and mission
  • Repurpose content for cross-platform publishing while maintaining platform-specific best practices
  • Monitor social media trends and recommend strategies for community growth and engagement

Digital Design & Brand Consistency

  • Create digital graphics including event flyers, social media assets, email headers, and digital signage
  • Ensure consistent visual branding across all client touchpoints
  • Collaborate with clients on content development and maintain brand guidelines
  • Develop design templates and brand assets that can be efficiently replicated across campaigns

Analytics, Reporting & Client Communication

  • Provide detailed monthly performance reports for each client including insights from Google Analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing tools
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients during regular check-ins
  • Track campaign performance against client KPIs and business objectives
  • Prepare client-facing presentations and strategy documents

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in agency or client services environment
  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Proficiency in WordPress management and basic web development
  • Expert-level experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp strongly preferred)
  • Strong social media management skills across multiple platforms and scheduling tools
  • Graphic design capabilities using design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Experience with Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated client-facing experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Preferred

  • Previous agency or client services experience
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations, museums, or cultural institutions
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies
  • Experience with client reporting and presentation development
  • Knowledge of Baltimore/Mid-Atlantic cultural and nonprofit landscape

Position Type: Full-time

Reports To: Director of Operations

Location: Baltimore with potential for hybrid work arrangements

Travel: Occasional client meetings in Baltimore metro area
