Project Brief

Upon the success of the 2009 Maryland Film Festival, Orange Element was invited back to develop materials for the 2010 event.

Our Approach

To build on the energy and spirit of the 2009 materials, we revisited some of the key elements of the previous year (silhouettes of people) and dimensionalized their setting. The poster and banner show a 3D cityscape with the center attraction as the Charles Theater (the main location for the festival). The bus shelter signage and animated trailer are examples of being up close and personal, living within the space of the festival.
