Cottage Industry Exhibition

Cottage Industry, an exhibition exploring the artist as entrepreneur, opened at the Contemporary Museum on June 1, 2008. The exhibition featured six artists and artist collaboratives that have merged art with business by creating small shops, business ventures, and alternative cultural institutions.

Orange Element was very pleased to be involved with development of exhibition materials and catalogue. The artist's collective body of work and ideas, combined with the direction from both Irene Hofmann and Kristin Chambers, helped to make for a memorable exhibition and a great collection of work for the catalogue.
